Quality Without Crude Oil

Just as nature does, Frosch operates within cycles: plant-based ingredients from renewable raw materials, free from crude oil and in recycled bottles.

The bottles are made from post-consumer plastic - mostly, and with an increasing number, from the “Yellow Bag” recycling program. Through our recycled plastic initiative, we have now brought over one billion bottles made from 100 percent post-consumer plastic into the market. A milestone and a strong sign of a true circular economy!

Our Frosch assortment currently includes over 80 products, ranging from cleaning and laundry to even personal care with Frosch Senses soaps and shower gels. Diverse and high-performance products in harmony with nature - fully in line with the circular economy and independent of fossil fuel sources.

Rising energy and raw material prices, uncertain supply chains, and new threats pose major challenges for Europe. It’s becoming clear that circular products aren’t just good for the environment - they’re also important for the economy and national security. The connection is obvious: If we recycle and reuse resources locally, we don’t have to import them. Especially in times of crisis, this is a key factor for a resilient economy. The circular economy makes us less dependent on international supply chains and thus also strengthens the energy independence of Germany and Europe. This makes us less dependent on fossil raw materials and less vulnerable to external pressure. That is why the circular economy is an important pillar of the security and economic policy in Germany and Europe.

For 40 years, we have consistently led by example on the path to independence from crude oil -and we hope that many will follow our lead. It benefits us all!
